New Developments

We are pleased to announce that our senior trainer Matthew Plumridge, has been elected as a trustee of Volunteering England for a three year term. This places him right at the heart of Volunteering. He has also been selected as a facilitator for Sport Makers, delivering the Olympic Legacy.
 
Volunteer Befriender Training - We were commissioned to write and deliver 4 half day courses on befriending for a Home from Hospice service working with seriously ill and ‘end of life’ clients. It was very well received by the participants who have all gone on to take up the role with a specific client. We wish our client every success with it. This will be a new course to our portfolio shortly.
 
Support with Confidence – We were approached by Surrey Trading Standards to design and deliver two half day training sessions for their traders who register for the ‘Buy with Confidence’, ‘Support with Confidence Scheme training them on how to work with ‘adults at risk’ clients. This has been extremely successful and lovely work to carry out.

Environment - We take our environmental responsibility seriously and in addition to our existing policy and commitments, we pay WWF to keep an area of the rain forest protected and managed.
