Our trainers come from a variety of backgrounds, therefore we can often facilitate courses far beyond our current prospectus.
Matthew Plumridge has worked in the not-for-profit and charitable sector for over 25 years from project manager to board member and is currently a trustee of Volunteering England and Positive Action (an HIV Charity covering West Surrey and Hampshire). As well as running his own training business, he works as a training consultant for: Sport Makers (delivering the Olympic legacy), a healthcare training company covering S.E. England, and a London based health charity specialising in personal development courses, sexual health and health promotion. He also has a commercial background including retail, wholesale and manufacturing which has given him an insight into the needs of different organisations.
Susie Nicholson RGN, Cert Ed, comes from a clinical and education background and has worked for many years in the Nursing and Care sector, initially as a nurse (still registered) and then in various managerial roles within Nursing & Care companies and agencies. She also works for a healthcare training company as a trainer in First Aid, Moving & Handling (Back Care), Infection control, Risk Assessments and a number of other health related courses.
Stephen Clarke comes from a personnel, training and operations management background with a wealth of experience in devising and delivering training across a range of managerial and operational subjects. He also works as a training consultant for a healthcare training company covering S.E. England.
Emma Mattingley comes from a sales and marketing, administration and office managment background. Her organisational ability, I.T. knowledge, communication skills and customer focussed approach have come as a result of working in a broad range of industries as well as the charitable and not-for-profit sector. Emma is currently studying towards a BA/Bsc (Honours) Degree in Combined Social Science.
